When an Oil Change Is Not Enough
An oil warning light, low oil pressure, metallic engine noise, severe leakage, overheating or contaminated oil may require diagnosis before routine maintenance is performed.
Do not continue driving when the red oil-pressure warning remains illuminated. Shut the engine off safely and arrange an inspection. An oil change will not repair a mechanical oil-pressure problem.
